Aeolian harp

Wedding harpist in Venice

Four marvelous instruments to create a magic atmosphere. Harps crafted with love, with perfect attention to details, by small and skillful harp makers, who pay particular attention to acustic and aesthetic dynamics.
Chiara desired for herself a collection of art pieces, not to make them cold items for a museum, but to bring them to life thanks to an elegant and warm musical sensibility. Chiara plays her harps in passionate concerts, parties and events, records compact discs and devotes herself to the rediscovery of the Celtic, Medieval, Renaissance and contemporary repertoires. In her activities, she naturally cooperates with other artists and aesthetes.
But who's behind the sinuous shapes of Chiara's harps? In the first place Deneb, Gran Concerto 47-strings harp by the Liuteria Artigiana of Serravalle Scrivia (Italy). Deneb is perfect for the Romantic and contemporary repertoire, and has a rich degree of sonority, that is expressed with sweetness and depth. Then there is Silmaril, the 36-strings Celtic harp built by the expert harp maker Frank Sievert from Schnega (Germany), that has an amazing sound lightness; that's not accidental because Frank uses only woods of the best quality. The picture on this page also shows Sandy, the 34-strings Celtic harp produced by Emy's Harps of Sarsina (Italy), with her precious trimmings in walnut root.
And lastly we have a beautiful English harp built in the early Nineteenth century by the brillant harp maker Sebastian Erard, enriched with golden stucco decorations and with the heritage of a glorious past to be rediscovered.
Four living creatures that exalt Chiara's musical world.
